Bristow Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FRANK HASKELL CT., 11800 block, 10 a.m. Jan. 3 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 7. Someone entered a residence by breaking a rear sliding-glass door. Nothing was reported stolen.

Dale City Area

WEAPONS

SADDLER LANE, 5400 block, 9:16 p.m. Jan. 8. During an argument involving a large group of people, several gunshots were fired. No injuries were reported.

Dumfries Area

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

OLD STAGE RD., 17100 block, 1 a.m. Jan. 10. A convenience store employee allegedly inappropriately touched a female customer. A 40-year-old Dumfries man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

JURGENSEN DR., 3600 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 8 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9. An office was entered. Two windows were broken, and two copiers and two sets of window blinds were damaged.

RESERVOIR LOOP, 16600 block, 3:59 a.m. Dec. 28. Someone attempted to enter a residence by forcing open a window.

TELESCOPE LANE, 16500 block, 11 p.m. Jan. 4 to 4:45 a.m. Jan. 5. Cash, two laptop computers, a video game system, a digital camera, gift cards, video games and a flower vase were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

TELESCOPE LANE, 16500 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 4 to 11 a.m. Jan. 5. Someone attempted to enter a residence by tampering with a window.

Gainesville Area

WEAPONS

CARVER RD., 7300 block, 1:02 a.m. Jan. 7. During an argument about a dog, a man allegedly told the dog owner to meet him at a location. The dog owner called police, who went to the location and reportedly found three men with shotguns hiding in woods. A 23-year-old Nuevo, Calif., man, a 25-year-old Gainesville man and a 49-year-old Purcellville man were arrested.

YELLOWTHROAT CT., 8800 block, 9:30 a.m. Dec. 30 to 2:15 p.m. Jan. 4. Someone entered a residence by forcing open a door. Nothing was reported stolen.

Manassas Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALBEMARLE DR., 7500 block, Jan. 1 to Jan. 3. A video game system and video games were stolen from a residence.

ROSBURY CT., 7600 block, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 4. A laptop computer, a video game system and video games were stolen from a residence.

ROSEBERRY FARM DR., 7700 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 8. Cash, two video game systems, an MP3 player and video games were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

Woodbridge Area

ASSAULTS

POTOMAC MILLS CIR., 2700 block, 9:10 p.m. Jan. 6. A man in a parking lot asked another man for a lighter. When the second man began to call police, the first man hit him in the face. The injured man was treated at the scene.

ROBBERIES

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 13900 block, 5:24 p.m. Jan. 6. Two males stole two pairs of shoes from a shoe store.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 14500 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 8. A man demanded a cellphone from another man, who refused and fought him. The robber fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CULLER CT., 3300 block, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 4. Cash, credit cards, a purse and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a front door.

LANGTREE LANE, 13600 block, 12:45 to 2:15 p.m. Jan. 8. A piggy bank containing cash was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

POTOMAC VISTA DR., 1200 block, 8 a.m. to 1:54 p.m. Jan. 5. An MP3 player, a video game system and video games were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

WINSTON LANE, 16800 block, 6:40 a.m. to 11:10 p.m. Jan. 9. A flat-screen TV and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through a kitchen window.

VANDALISM

CARTER LANE, 1500 block, 8:40 p.m. Jan. 10. A window of a residence and the windows of four vehicles were broken.

Manassas

CHURCH ST., 9200 block, 3 p.m. Jan. 11. A man robbed a bank of cash.

Manassas Park

The following incidents were reported by Manassas Park police. For information, call 703-361-1136.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MANASSAS DR., 200 block, 8 to 11 a.m. Jan. 6. A bracelet was stolen from a residence.

MOSEBY CT., 300 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 5 to 6:08 a.m. Jan. 6. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
