After being sent home in disgrace for a bar fight in Turin during the 2006 Winter Games, Jeret "Speedy" Peterson gave up alcohol and vowed to take better advantage of another Olympic chance. He is seeking gold in men's aerials with a difficult trick called "the Hurricane," which involves five spins and three somersaults. He failed to pull it off on his last run in 2006; the mistake pushed him from third to seventh and cost him a bronze medal.
