Wedding details: Marin Graney & Daniel Correa
The forecast threatened rain all weekend, but the skies were blue when Marin Graney and Daniel Correa exchanged vows on the roof of the Hay Adams Hotel on April 4. The Sunday afternoon ceremony was attended by 80 friends and family members.
The ambiance: Classic elegance. Wedding planners Wendy Raab and Sidni Greenblat of Rave Reviews helped Graney and Correa pull off a polished event. Guests took in views of the White House during cocktail hour before heading to the hotel's main dining room for dinner and dancing. Florist Joseph Watkins built a chuppah of cherry blossoms and customized white bouquets.
The food: The Hay Adams catered the affair. During cocktail hour guests were served tuna tartare, scallops in pancetta and Peking duck. For dinner there was seafood ceviche and a duo of filet mignon and Chilean sea bass. The wedding cake was made by Patisserie Poupon.
The dress: Graney found her strapless, ivory gown by Jenny Lee at Carine's Bridal Atlelier. Her veil was by Angel Sanchez.
Photographer: Len DePas Photography.
First dance: Chris Grasso Music, with vocalist Sharón Clark performed "The Look of Love."
