The White House is throwing another epic bash, this time honoring Paul McCartney, winner of this year's Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.

Macca is the third songwriter to receive the award (Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon have been honored in previous years), and the Beatle will be feted in the East Room on June 2.

He won't be the only star in the room. An array of performers will perform McCartney's songs in tribute, including Wonder, Faith Hill, the Jonas Brothers, Dave Grohl, Jack White, Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Herbie Hancock and Corinne Bailey Rae. Funnyman Jerry Seinfeld also will be on hand for a few remarks.

The program will be taped by WETA as part of the "In Performance at the White House" series and is scheduled to air on PBS stations nationwide on July 28.
