Highlights of House spending bill

-- Renew scores of expired tax breaks through Dec. 31 -- $39.5 billion.

-- Postpone a scheduled Medicare pay cut for doctors until 2012 -- $23 billion.

-- Settle discrimination suits against Agriculture Department -- $4.6 billion.

-- Help states with increased welfare caseloads -- $2.5 billion.

-- Fund summer jobs -- $1 billion.
