Obama nominees confirmed by Senate

The Senate has confirmed the following nominations by unanimous consent through June 21, 2010, according to the Senate whip's office:

-- Brian Hayes to be a member of the National Labor Relations Board

-- Mark Gaston Pearce to be a member of the National Labor Relations Board

-- Benjamin B. Tucker to be deputy director for State, Local, and Tribal Affairs, Office of National Drug Control Policy

-- John H. Laub to be director of the National Institute of Justice

-- Anthony R. Coscia to be a director of the Amtrak Board of Directors

-- Albert DiClemente to be a director of the Amtrak Board of Directors

-- Mark R. Rosekind to be a member of the National Transportation Safety Board

-- Jim R. Esquea to be an assistant secretary of Health and Human Services

-- James P. Lynch to be director of the Bureau of Justice Statistics

-- Judith Ann Stewart Stock to be an assistant secretary of state (Educational and Cultural Affairs)

-- Patricia A. Hoffman to be an assistant secretary of energy (Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability)
