POINTE MEADOW CT., 15000 block, 8 a.m. June 26. Two motorcycles were stolen from an unlocked shed.

Bryans Road area

VEHICLE THEFTS

BUMPY OAK RD., 11:16 a.m. July 1. A 2003 Sierra GMC was stolen from a parking lot at Indian Head Rail Trail. It was recovered after it had been set on fire.

Hughesville area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BURNT STORE RD., 14500 block, 10:13 p.m. June 29. An attempt was made to break into a camper parked behind a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

Indian Head area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MATTAWOMAN CT., 10-11:19 a.m. June 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force. Two males were seen fleeing with the property.

La Plata area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANN DR., 5 a.m. June 28. A boat was stolen from a lift. The boat was recovered in a secluded area. Its engine had been removed.
