BOUNDARIES: Bladensburg Road on the north, the Anacostia River on the east and south, and Fort Lincoln Cemetery on the south and west.

SCHOOLS: Public schools serving Colmar Manor include Rogers Heights Elementary School, William Wirt Middle School and Bladensburg High School.

HOME SALES: In the past 12 months, 17 houses have sold at prices ranging from $35,000 to $180,000, according to David Maplesden, an agent with Long & Foster. Recently five houses were listed with asking prices from $64,500 for a foreclosure to $215,900. Ten houses were under contract, with asking prices between $49,000 and $145,000.

WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE: Colmar Manor shopping center, Anacostia River trail, Bladensburg Waterfront Park.

WITHIN 10 TO 15 MINUTES BY CAR: Cheverly and Rhode Island Avenue Metro stations, University of Maryland, the Mall at Prince Georges.
