The Financial Times has a rollicking debate underway over whether the world's biggest economies should pull the plug on government stimulus now or continue priming the pump to try to keep the world economic recovery on track. Jean-Claude Trichet, Larry Summers, Martin Feldstein, Martin Wolf, Jeffrey Sachs and more debate the question.

And advocating more monetary stimulus from the Federal Reserve is Joseph Gagnon, a former Fed economist now at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
