Fair Oaks District

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEE HWY., 11200 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

MAJESTIC LANE, 4000 block. A case of beer was stolen from a business.

OLD DAIRY CT., 13400 block. An engagement ring was stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

TOWER SIDE DR., 9200 block. A 2003 Volkswagen Jetta was stolen.

Franconia District

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

PLASKETT FOREST LANE, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16. A 14-year-old girl answered a knock on a door at a house, and a man who said he was selling cleaning products entered and asked to use the bathroom. When he left the bathroom, he sexually assaulted the girl. Residents provided information on a group of solicitors in the neighborhood, and later police stopped a vehicle as a result of the investigation. One of nine occupants in the vehicle was identified as the suspect in the assault case. A 26-year-old North Carolina man was charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor.

ROBBERIES

AMHERST AVE., 6300 block, 10:12 p.m. Aug. 12. A man struggled with a 40-year-old man and robbed him of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLARRA EDWARD TERR., 6200 block. A radio was stolen from a vehicle.

CRAIG ST., 5800 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.
