GETTING THERE

It's about a seven-hour drive from Washington to Kripalu. U.S. Airways and United offer non-stop flights to Albany International Airport, about 60 miles from Kripalu, from Reagan National and Dulles, respectively, starting at $270. Kripalu offers a shuttle from the airport on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and some holidays at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. and to the airport at noon and 3:30 pm. Cost is $65.

Kripalu's Retreat and Renewal programs include room, board and all yoga classes, workshops and activities. Weekend rates range from $181 per person for a dorm room to $392 per person for a private room with private bath.

Kripalu offers more than 750 programs a year in yoga, holistic health, personal growth, cooking and nutrition, meditation, Ayurveda and more. It also offers a range of week-long guest teacher programs and teacher training.
