What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Today's economic environment is our greatest threat. The Patuxent River Naval Air Station provides a tremendous breadth and depth of jobs for both the federal and private sectors, but this cannot be our single driver. Working with our citizens, I will promote the enhancement of our private sector, focusing strongly on small-business diversification. We need to balance our fiscal policies on controlled spending. We must examine our budgets, weed out waste and provide sufficient services to meet our growing needs. Supporting education at all levels will remain at the forefront of all my economic activity and fiscal policy decisions."
