Handful of Friday night football games postponed

Most of Friday night's football slate will go on as scheduled in the Washington area, although a few games have been rescheduled after the deluge that soaked the region on Thursday.

Among the games that will be played Friday, fifth-ranked Lake Braddock hosts Robinson (3-1) and 13th-ranked Sherwood is at Gaithersburg (4-0).

One game has switched locations:

South River at Northeast has been moved to Glen Burnie, 6:30 p.m.

Games that have been rescheduled include:

St. John's at Paul VI Catholic, Saturday, 6:15 p.m.

Chopticon at McDonough, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Westlake at Leonardtown, Monday, 6:15 p.m.

Great Mills at Lackey, Saturday, 10 a.m.

No. 18 Seneca Valley at Kennedy, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Potomac (Va.) at Hylton, Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

Old Mill at Southern, Monday, 6:30 pm.
