John Marshall Bank opens Rockville branch

John Marshall Bank of Alexandria has opened its first full-service branch in Maryland, at 11 N. Washington St. in Rockville. The location is the community bank's fourth in the greater Washington region, where it debuted in May 2006 following the $6.8 million acquisition and re-branding of Security One Bank. Since then, the bank has gained a solid footing, weathering the recession and posting a profit in the past four quarters.
