Met casts operas only for the stage
In her review of the Met's new production of "Das Rheingold," ["Was it cast for movie theaters?," Style, Oct. 11], Post critic Anne Midgette wrote, "My theory: This 'Rheingold' was, at least in part, cast for the simulcast." Ms. Midgette was incorrect. We cast solely for our stage performances.
