What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The most urgent issue facing District 29C is the need to create quality, stable and well-paying jobs. There is a need to create tax policies that will encourage economic development and 'smart growth' policies to support local business (small, medium and large) and keep Southern Maryland tax revenue in Southern Maryland. We need to cut the red tape and streamline permitting processes to help local businesses create jobs and to encourage the development of 'green' enterprises to protect our natural resources, including the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. Economic development will maintain and improve quality of life in Southern Maryland."

Why should voters elect you?

"Chris Davies believes in maintaining the quality of life for the people of S. Md. Chris will listen and respond to all 38,000 district residents."
