What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Failed leadership. I'm the only candidate with a detailed fiscal plan to end our structural deficit and a jobs plan to attract aerospace firms. I'm the only candidate who supports full funding for public schools, so we can better serve ESOL and special needs students, and fund all-day pre-K for every child. My transportation plan builds the Rockville Freeway, Outer Beltway and new Potomac River bridges. I'll protect residents and businesses in Aspen Hill, Wheaton and Long Branch from out-of-control redevelopment. I oppose the ambulance fee. Residents with disabilities and special needs will finally have an advocate on the council."

Why should voters elect you?

"I can make the tough decisions my opponents cannot. I'll transform our county government into one that serves the people, not the other way around."
