What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Jobs and foreclosures are the most urgent problems facing my jurisdiction. As I talk to my constituents, I am finding that many hardworking people are out of work for the first time in their lives, or those who own businesses are struggling to stay afloat. This is contributing to the high number of foreclosures in the county and impacting the property values and the quality of life of all residents. I voted for legislation giving homeowners the right to demand mandatory mediation in the case of foreclosures, but we must continue to address this issue."

Why should voters elect you?

"Because I study the issues, work hard and have been effective in Annapolis and in the community."
