Hospice of Charles County is seeking volunteers to help with this year's Festival of Trees, Nov. 26 to Nov. 29 at Greater Waldorf Jaycees, 3090 Crain Hwy., Waldorf. 301-934-1268 or

Charles County Freedom Landing, a mental health program for adults, needs volunteers to assist with group activities, gardening and computer and clerical tasks. 301-932-2737.
