Noticeable omission from all-star ballot
John Wall, Gilbert Arenas and JaVale McGee all made the 2011 NBA all-star ballot as the Wizards secured the league minimum three players for consideration. But there was one noticeable omission for anyone who has been keeping track of the Wizards since they traded away Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler at the trade deadline last season: Andray Blatche.

Rocco, Metheny will share time at QB
While Mike London said Thursday there is no set plan on the number of snaps or series he wants reserve quarterbacks Michael Rocco and Ross Metheny to play Saturday, the Virginia coach acknowledged his intention to get both players on the field at Boston College.
Rocco, a freshman, and Metheny, a redshirt freshman, have played sparingly this season behind starting quarterback Marc Verica. London mentioned certain scenarios - first possessions of a half, possessions after kickoffs, possessions after forced turnovers - that would be ideal entry points.
