Everyone seems to have a favorite way to celebrate this merry time of year. For some, a Christmas tree lighting or a drive-through light display puts them in the holiday mood. For others, a performance of "The Nutcracker" or "A Christmas Carol" may make the season bright. Music lovers might seek out a "Messiah" singalong or a holiday concert. And children - or the child in all of us - may find delight in model train shows, breakfasts with Santa, teddy bear teas or candy cane hunts.

Whatever puts you in the holiday spirit, we're here to help you celebrate your traditions - or make new ones. This comprehensive list of all things fun and festive should yield favorites for any and all: There are plenty of Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and other holiday events to keep you busy through December, and it's never too early to start planning ways to ring in 2011.
