Government reports violations of limits on spying aimed at U.S. citizens
The federal government continues to violate legal limits on spying aimed at U.S. citizens under a 2008 law that overhauled surveillance of electronic communications, according to previously secret internal government documents obtained through a court battle by the American Civil Liberties Union.
