Where to get reduced-fee pet licenses in Calvert County

Calvert County animal control officers will offer pet licenses at a reduced price at the following times and locations:

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 20 to 23 at the sheriff's office.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23 at the Solomons Volunteer Fire Department.

Payments may be made by cash or check. Residents can also buy licenses throughout the year at Calvert Animal Hospital, Chesapeake Animal Hospital, Prince Frederick Animal Hospital, Calvert County Courthouse, Solomons Veterinary Clinic and the Tri-County Animal Shelter. If unlicensed pets are missing, residents can call the Tri-County Animal Shelter at 800-903-1992 for lost-and-found reports. Shelter hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
