Northeast HOMICIDES

New Hampshire Ave. and Peabody St., 7 p.m. Jan. 23. Washington residents Rashid Paul, 26, and D'Angelo Thompson, 27, were found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Michigan Ave., 3 to 4 p.m. Jan. 19. A male sexually assaulted a female youth at a residence.

Penn St., 10:15 a.m. Jan. 20. A male sexually assaulted a female at a residence.

44th St., 11:20 to 11:25 p.m. Jan. 19. A male intruder tried to sexually assault a female at a residence.

ROBBERIES

Benning Rd., 3900 block, 11 to 11:34 p.m. Jan. 21. Two males assaulted and robbed a male pedestrian.

Duncan Pl., 1200 block, 6:50 to 6:52 p.m. Jan. 25. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of property, then fled with a male accomplice.

Hunt Pl., 4300 block, 5:45 to 5:50 p.m. Jan. 24. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of property.

Kenilworth Ave., 1400 block, 2:20 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25. Several gunmen demanded cash from employees. The employees complied, and the robbers fled in a vehicle.

Maryland Ave., 2000 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 22. Two males assaulted and robbed a deliveryman.

Minnesota Ave., 3800 block, 5 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24. Two males assaulted and robbed a female at a convenience store.

Minnesota Ave., 4800 block, 8:07 to 8:08 p.m. Jan. 24. A gunman assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed the pedestrian of cash.

New York Ave., 1600 block, 6:19 p.m. Jan. 21. A male assaulted and robbed two pedestrians, then fled with several accomplices.

New York Ave., 1900 block, 11:12 to 11:16 p.m. Jan. 24. A gunman approached a male leaving a vehicle, then robbed him of cash and other property and fled in the vehicle.

Rhode Island Ave., 600 block, 8:24 p.m. Jan. 25. A male tried to rob a female of a purse. The female used pepper spray, and the robber fled with several accomplices.

Rhode Island Ave., 1900 block, 10 to 10:05 p.m. Jan. 21. Two males robbed two pedestrians of cash, then fled with an accomplice.

42nd and Grant streets, 8:15 to 8:20 p.m. Jan. 25. A male robbed a female pedestrian of property, then fled in a vehicle.

57th Pl., 200 block, 9:25 to 9:26 p.m. Jan. 24. A gunman tried to rob a male pedestrian , who fled and called police. The robber fled with an accomplice.

Bladensburg Rd., 800 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 23 to 9:55 a.m. Jan. 24. Property was stolen from a garage at a service station. The business was entered by smashing glass in a door.

Bladensburg Rd., 3000 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 21 to 10:45 a.m. Jan. 22. An office was ransacked.

Brooks St., 4700 block, noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

Division Ave., 800 block, 8:15 a.m. to 2:38 p.m. Jan. 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a rear basement window.

Douglas St., 4400 block, Jan. 15 to Jan. 21. A residence was entered through an unlocked rear kitchen window and ransacked.

E St., 300 block, 8:10 a.m. to 6:05 p.m. Jan. 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a front door.

James Pl., 5400 block, 6:40 to 6:50 p.m. Jan. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

Kansas Ave., 6100 block, 7:05 to 7:10 p.m. Jan. 22. Property was stolen from a school by several male intruders, who entered by breaking a window.

L St., 1700 block, 8 a.m. Jan. 16 to 2 p.m. Jan. 22. A residence was entered by forcing open a front door.

Maryland Ave., 2100 block, 4:55 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Jan. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by pushing an air conditioner from a window.

Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., 5500 block, 2:30 p.m. Jan. 21 to 1:40 a.m. Jan. 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by kicking a living room window.

Oglethorpe St., 400 block, noon to 9 p.m. Jan. 19. Property was stolen from a residence.

Fifth St., 500 block, 1 to 1:06 p.m. Jan. 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

18th St., 1000 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 21 to 1:45 a.m. Jan. 23. Property was stolen from an apartment.

19th St., 300 block, 2:30 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a rear door.

50th St., 300 block, 5:30 p.m. Jan. 22 to 12:45 a.m. Jan. 23. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing open a front door.

Northwest HOMICIDES

Florida Ave. and North Capitol St., 11:11 p.m. Jan. 19. William Mitchell, 33, of Washington was found lying on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Mitchell was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

ROBBERIES

Blair Rd. and Peabody St., 6:35 to 6:38 p.m. Jan. 20. A man grabbed a male pedestrian's book bag, and a struggle ensued. The robber showed a handgun and threatened to shoot, then took property and fled.

H St., 600 block, 1:15 to 1:16 p.m Jan. 23. A man entered a parking lot booth, pulled a jacket over an employee's head and took cash and a wallet. The attendant fled.

Irving St.,1200 block, 12:20 to 12:22 a.m. Jan. 23. Several male and female youths approached a female pedestrian. Her hair was pulled, and she was robbed of a purse.

Keefer Pl., 600 block, 2 to 2:05 p.m. Jan. 23. A man was sitting in his vehicle when a man approached and asked to use his cellphone. The man then took property from the occupant, and another robber threatened the occupant.

L St., 1-99 block, noon to 12:08 p.m. Jan. 21. Two men demanded cash from a person at a construction site. One robber showed a handgun. The person complied.

Q St., 600 block, 7:54 to 8:45 a.m. Jan. 25. A male youth entered an area and ordered several employees to the floor. He took a wallet and cash from a person and fled. A male, 15, was arrested.

Quincy St.,500 block, 7:50 p.m. Jan. 25. A male pedestrian was robbed by two male youths. A weapon was shown.

Randolph St.,1300 block, 7:10 p.m. Jan. 22. A female was walking in an alley and noticed three men. One punched her in the face, and she was robbed of a cellphone.

Webster St.,1000 block, 6:45 to 6:47 p.m. Jan. 23. A man entered a store and made a racial comment about two men in the store. He left, then the two men left. He approached them and hit one with a metal object and took property.

Wisconsin Ave.,5300 block, 2:55 to 2:58 a.m. Jan. 21. Several people approached a male pedestrian. Two people grabbed him and demanded property. He was assaulted with a metal pole when he tried to escape. Cash and and a cellphone were taken from him.

Third St., 4200 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Three men emerged from an alley and approached two pedestrians. Two of the three showed handguns and demanded property. The pedestrians complied. A pedestrian was assaulted.

Fourth St., 5300 block, 4 to 4:10 p.m. Jan. 20. Two men approached a male pedestrian , and one showed a handgun and forced him to an alley, where his wallet was taken.

Ninth and T streets, 12:55 to 3:20 a.m. Jan. 21. Four male youths approached a male pedestrian, and he was robbed of a cellphone.

16th St., 6000 block, 7:35 to 7:50 p.m. Jan. 22. A motorist driving a van stopped at a traffic signal, and a man opened a door and took items from a seat. The motorist shouted, and the robber showed a handgun and ordered the driver not to speak. The property was later recovered in the area.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chestnut Lane, 4400 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 18 to 7 a.m. Jan. 19. Tools were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a padlock of a side door. Copper outside the residence was also taken.

French St., 900 block, 8:45 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. Jan. 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front window.

Georgia Ave., 3100 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 20 to 10 a.m. Jan. 24. A TV was taken from a lobby area. The building was entered by prying open a front door.

Georgia Ave., 4400 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 17 to 9:30 a.m. Jan. 22. Property was stolen from a church entered by damaging a basement door.

Geranium St., 1400 block, 6:45 p.m. Jan. 23 to 2:40 p.m. Jan. 24. A residence was burglarized.

Kennedy St., 800 block, 9:10 p.m. Jan. 21 to 11 a.m. Jan. 23. A person entered a religious institution, then entered an office through a door. The office was ransacked, and property was stolen.

Kenyon St., 700 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 22 to 1 p.m. Jan. 23. A residence was burglarized.

Kenyon St.,1300 block, 8:20 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 20. A residence was burglarized.

Massachusetts Ave., 4100 block, 6:25 to 6:27 a.m. Jan. 21. A male entered a residence through an unlocked front door, then went to a bedroom where a female was asleep. She awoke when he touched her leg, and he fled. Nothing was reported taken.

Massachusetts Ave., 4100 block, 6:30 to 6:33 a.m. Jan. 21. A male entered an apartment through an open front door. He then entered a bedroom where a female was asleep and squeezed her thigh. He fled when she awoke.

Ogelthorpe St., 200 block, 9 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. Jan. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by kicking open a front door.

Pennsylvania Ave., 2300 block, 9:30 a.m. Dec. 15 to 5 p.m. Jan. 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

Q St., 400 block, 2:50 to 2:57 p.m. Jan. 21. Property was taken from a residence.

R St.,1500 block, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 19. A basement door was forced open at a residence. It was unknown whether anything had been taken.

R St., 1800 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 20 to 12:31 a.m. Jan. 21. A residence was burglarized.

T St., 1-99 block., 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 21. An attempt was made to pry open a door at a residence. Nothing was reported taken.

T St., 1200 block, 10:53 a.m. Jan. 24. A male kicked open a door of a residence, then fled when an alarm was triggered. Nothing was reported taken.

V St., 1-99 block, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 24 to 6:19 p.m. Jan. 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front door.

W St., 100 block, 7:45 to 11 p.m. Jan. 21. An apartment was burglarized.

Wisconsin Ave., 1200 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 20 to 4:55 a.m. Jan. 21. A store was entered by breaking a window with a brick. Property was moved.

Wisconsin Ave., 4200 block, 1:30 a.m. Jan. 20. Cash was stolen from a cash register of a store entered by breaking a front door.

Yuma St., 3700 block, 11:30 p.m. Jan. 20 to 6 a.m. Jan. 21. A person entered a residence by prying open a porch door. A window pane was broken. Nothing was reported taken.

Eighth St., 5400 block, 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Jan. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear door.

Ninth St.,1800 block, 5:05 to 5:30 a.m. Jan. 23. A video game system was stolen from a residence, and a door was damaged.

16th St., 100 block, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21. Property was taken from an office suite. The property was recovered in a stairwell across the hall from the suite.

16th St., 1900 block, 9 a.m. Dec. 27 to 3 p.m. Jan. 7. A residence was burglarized.

18th St., 1500 block, 5:30 p.m. Jan. 20 to 12:15 p.m. Jan. 21. A business was burglarized.

Mississippi Ave., 8 to 8:10 p.m. June 8. A male juvenile and a female juvenile sexually assaulted a girl at a residence.

Naylor Rd., 2700 block, 11 to 11:10 a.m. June 9. A male sexually assaulted a female at a school playground.

Alabama Ave., 1000 block, 2:30 to 2:33 p.m. Jan. 20. Two males robbed a male pedestrian of property.

Naylor Rd., 3000 block, 9:25 to 9:27 p.m. Jan. 21. Three males assaulted and robbed a male pedestrian.

Newcomb St., 500 block, 4:50 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 22. A male with a knife assaulted and robbed a male pedestrian.

Southern Ave., 800 block, 9:54 p.m. Jan. 22. A male assaulted and robbed a female pedestrian, then fled with accomplices.

Stanton Terr., 1700 block, 9:38 to 9:39 p.m. Jan. 22. A gunman and a male accomplice tried to rob a male at a residence, then fled without property.

Ninth St., 3800 block, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 23. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of property, then fled with several accomplices.

13th St., 1000 block, 12:45 to 12:50 a.m. Jan. 22. Several people assaulted and robbed a male at a residence.

24th St., 3400 block, 1 to 1:05 a.m. Jan. 22. A gunman and a male accomplice tried to force a male driver from a vehicle. The driver fled in the vehicle.

32nd and Gainesville streets, 1:50 to 1:51 p.m. Jan. 22. A male juvenile assaulted and tried to rob a female pedestrian, then fled without property.

34th St., 100 block, 3:30 a.m. Jan. 22. A gunman demanded property from a female at a residence, then fled when she called police.

Southwest ROBBERIES

M St., 200 block, 8:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 21. A woman approached a female pedestrian from behind and forced her to the ground. A male accomplice of the assailant then punched the pedestrian in the face and took property from her jacket. The assailants fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

First Pl., 4000 block, 9:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 23. A residence was burglarized.

Carrollsburg Pl.,1200 block, 7:30 to 7:40 a.m. Jan. 20. A male youth threw a TV on the floor and broke a sink and a door when a relative told him to go to school. A male, 16, was arrested.
