l Book at least three nights at the all-inclusive Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and receive reduced rates for stays through Dec. 22. Discounts vary by date and accommodation. For example, through March 31 (except Feb. 16-28), a standard room starts at $200 per couple per night, a savings of 60 percent. l Hawks Cay Resort on Duck Key, Fla., is offering a Couples Castaway package for stays through March 31. Deal includes a free fourth night (based on weekday rate) and several other freebies, such as a bottle of wine and wineglasses ($50 value), a sunset bike tour ($20; available Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) and a couples' massage course ($50; 11 a.m. Saturdays). l Silversea has expanded its $1,000 per-cabin (or $500 per-person) shipboard credit promotion. The deal now applies to 38 sailings in 2011; book by June 30. The credit is valid on spa services, shore excursions, premium liquor and wine selections, specialty restaurant fees, Internet cafe charges and onboard shopping. The promo can be combined with other discounts, such as free airfare and fare reductions of up to 60 percent. For example, the 10-day Silver Cloud cruise departing June 15 from Barcelona and sailing to Southampton, England, now starts at $5,118 per person double, with taxes; brochure rate was $12,795. l Norwegian is offering free cabin upgrades on many of its 2011 cruises. Deal applies to dozens of itineraries in Alaska, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the Mediterranean. Prices and upgrade value vary. For example, a seven-night Alaskan cruise aboard the Norwegian Star that sails round trip from Seattle on June 11 costs $3,642 per couple for a mini-suite with balcony; the upgrade from a balcony cabin is worth $200. l AirTran has launched a systemwide sale. Fares from BWI Marshall range from $59 to $159 each way, plus taxes; from Reagan National and Washington Dulles, fares range from $84 to $169 each way, plus taxes. For example, fly nonstop from BWI to Bermuda between April 7 (when seasonal service starts) and May 24, and pay $293 round trip, including $95 taxes. Other airlines are matching, but fares typically start at $403. For Florida, travel through March 16; for all other destinations, through May 24. Blackout dates and cheapest days to fly vary by city. l Virgin Atlantic has sale fares to London. Round-trip fare for nonstop flights from Washington Dulles is $612, including $190 taxes. Other airlines are matching. Travel by April 12. l Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas is offering a free fourth night and one free companion airfare. The promotion also includes free meals for children age 11 and younger, and a Taste of Atlantis card, which covers several rounds of drinks and snacks for two adults. Price varies by departure date and room category. For example, a four-night package for a family of four in early March with lodging in the beach tower starts at $2,992, including round-trip airfare from BWI Marshall, least expensive meal plan (continental breakfast and dinner at Seagrapes or Marketplace) and taxes. Booked separately, trip would cost about $847 more. Book by Feb. 9. Travel periods and restrictions vary. For free companion airfare, complete travel by June 30 (April 1-30 blackout dates); promo does not cover air taxes.
