Faster Forward: Verizon iPhone might have antenna problems, too

The Verizon iPhone might suffer from antenna problems similar to those of the AT&T iPhone when the antennas come into contact with bare skin.

ILounge posted the results of its tests on how the new version of the iPhone stood up to the "death grip" hold that afflicted the AT&T model and a new grip, the "death hug," which was reported to affect speeds when the phone is held in landscape.

Both positions appear a bit unnatural, but the video from iLounge does show that they have a detrimental effect on the data and download speeds for the iPhone, in some cases stalling it out altogether.

As with the AT&T iPhone, iLounge said an iPhone case or cover should solve any issues.
