Another misstep in Post dance reviews
Once again, after reading the dance review of the Washington Ballet's latest performance ["Washington Ballet rolls with the rock," Style, Feb. 19], I am disappointed. Either because there is no orchestra or the company lacks depth, the review is always negative.
But as I was reading the Feb. 19 review, I was feeling quite optimistic. Maybe this was going to be the day the reviewer liked it.
She was going strong - positive, appreciating the dancers and the choreography. I was smiling. Finally.
But then I read the last paragraph and once again, there was that negativity. All three works "missed their mark ever so slightly . . . ." As usual.
Well, not for me. As usual.
