Regarding Outlook's weekly "Five Myths" feature:

Five myths about myths:

1. Labeling something as a myth is a devastating refutation of that idea.

2. You don't need evidence - calling something a myth is enough.

3. Dichotomies help refute an idea you don't like.

4. Readers don't have time for boring, confusing evidence that takes time to sort through.

5. Your five myths feature helps educate your readers.
