A 'spice' problem in Annapolis?

PostLocal readers respond to an article reporting that a synthetic form of marijuana is widely used at the U.S. Naval Academy because it cannot be detected in routine drug tests.

measurethis: Off-duty midshipmen should be able to smoke and chill. Gimme a break.

mhoust: When you get to go to a top-of-the-nation university to get a quarter of a million dollars' worth of college education for free, at the taxpayers' expense, it's not too much to ask that you abstain from unauthorized recreational drug use. Those who can't hack it should be separated.

eeterrific: Hey, Popeye used spinach. Isn't that a weed?

jrnberrycharternet: Drink an intoxicant and it's not only okay but celebrated. Smoke an intoxicant and you can go to jail. Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Ibabs27: In spite of the preposterous idea that everyone needs a drug to relieve stress, I've managed to reach my "advanced age," and get pretty far in life, without EVER HAVING USED A DRUG OF ANY KIND.
