Prince George's schools employee accused of watching porn on job

A Prince George's County public school employee is being investigated over allegations that he watched pornographic films on the job, according to a school spokeswoman.

The internal investigation involves a February incident in which several employees complained that an information technology worker was being boisterous while watching pornography on his work computer, according to a letter sent to members of the county's school board. The letter also alleges that the February incident was not the first involving the employee, whom the board spokeswoman declined to name.

Despite the complaints, the letter states, he continued that behavior and was not reprimanded.

School spokeswoman Birgitt Brevard did not provide additional details, saying the case was a personnel matter.

"We take these allegations seriously and investigate as we would with all reports of this nature," she said.
