Kathleen C. Fallahi, 49, who worked as an accounting assistant in Gaithersburg before moving to Colorado 10 years ago, died Feb. 1 at a hospital in Denver. She had blood clots and other complications from surgery.Mrs. Fallahi was born Kathleen Marie Cosgrove in Washington and grew up in Rockville. She attended Seneca Valley High School and graduated from an American high school in Cairo, where her father had an architectural engineering firm.Mrs. Fallahi, who later lived in Gaithersburg, was a homemaker and worked for several years for TeleCheck, a business services company.She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Rockville. She attended Montgomery College and later became a licensed practical nurse after moving to Colorado.She was a home health-care specialist for the state of Colorado from 2003 to 2008.Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Reza Fallahi, and three children, Sara Fallahi, Cameron Fallahi and Reza M. Fallahi, all of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; three brothers, James Cosgrove of Reston, William Cosgrove of Frederick and Gleason Cosgrove of Rockville; and a sister, Kelly Cosgrove of Falls Church.
