Angry Birds adds Facebook to its wingspan

Angry Birds, that highly addictive game from the Finnish company Rovio, is coming to Facebook next month. So far, 1.3 million Facebook users have clicked the "like" button on the game's official Facebook page, which promised updates on the social network's version of the game.

There aren't many details out yet about the latest incarnation of the game. The biggest clues are from a Wired UK interview with Rovio chief executive Mikael Hed. He said the new game will be more collaborative and that "the pigs will have a more prominent role."

Angry Birds is now on Android and Apple's iOS, Palm, Nokia and some game consoles; it's expected to be available on the Windows Phone 7 soon.
