Chuck LoMedico, real estate agent, musician

Chuck LoMedico, 94, a real estate agent with Long and Foster who was also a musician in local groups, died March 12 of congestive heart failure at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Alexandria.

Mr. LoMedico worked for Long and Foster's referral service in Prince George's County during the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Earlier in his career, he played trombone and bass with

orchestras and bands at country clubs and other venues.

During the 1950s and '60s, he worked as a music planner for weddings.

Charles John LoMedico, a native Washingtonian, served in the Army during World War II. During the 1930s, he ran an Italian grocery store in Northeast Washington.

His memberships included the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Federation of Musicians, Knights of Columbus, and Mount Calvary Catholic Church in Forestville. He was a Forestville resident.

Mr. LoMedico had no immediate survivors.
