Glenna A. Culbertson, 86, a supervisor for the Department of the Army's housing management division, died Feb. 15 at Fairfax Nursing Center in Fairfax City. She had dementia.

Mrs. Culbertson worked for the Army from 1981 until she retired in 1999. She had lived in Alexandria since 1964.

Glenna Mayfield Allen was born in Charlotte County, Va. She served in the women's auxiliary of the Army Air Forces during World War II and moved to Washington in the late 1940s. She was an administrative assistant for the American Red Cross early in her career.

Her husband of 40 years, Leonard D. Culbertson, died in 1988.

Survivors include five children, Leonard D. Culbertson Jr., Karen Davis, Anita Beth Culbertson and Patricia Smith, all of Manassas, and Debra Culbertson of Alexandria; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
