Getz, Davies lead Royals over Indians

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Chris Getz had two hits and two RBIs, leading the Kansas City Royals over a Cleveland Indians split-squad 6-5 Friday.

Royals right-hander Kyle Davies yielded two runs and six hits in five innings, his longest outing. Melky Cabrera went 2 for 3 with a double to raise his Cactus League-leading average to .518, while Billy Butler and Alex Gordon each had two hits.

Left-hander David Huff, who is competing for a spot in the Indians rotation, allowed three runs on six hits in 2 1-3 innings to take the loss. Carlos Santana went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Indians.
