A case of insanity: U.S. intervention in Libya
As I read the article "U.S. diplomats seek increased authority to intervene in Libya" [news story, March 17], I couldn't help but think of the famous saying that defines insanity as "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." Have we learned nothing from the Iran-Iraq war or the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan?
If the Arab League wants a no-fly zone imposed over Libya, let it execute it.
