Lindsey Vonn tops Alpine World Cup money list

GENEVA -- Lindsey Vonn tops Alpine skiing's World Cup prize money list despite losing the women's overall title to Maria Riesch.

The International Ski Federation says the American skier won $510,000, She won eight races.

Germany's Riesch gets $505,000 after winning six races. She led the standings by three points through consistent results in all disciplines.

Ivica Kostelic of Croatia topped the men's overall standings and prize list with $465,000. He won seven events.

Swiss downhill champion Didier Cuche and Austrian slalom specialist Marlies Schild also earned over $276,000.
