All except for Chris Cooley, H.B. Blades and Byron Westbrook were present when the first practice after the bye week began at 1 p.m., according to tweets by Rick Maese. All three were casualties of the Monday night loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Cooley broke a bone in his lower leg and underwent surgery Wednesday; Blades and Westbrook have knee injuries. Maese elaborates from Coach Jim Zorn's comments via twitter: Blades and Westbrook both suffered meniscus tears and underwent arthroscopic surgery last Tuesday. They could be ready for the game against Denver on Nov. 15. Of Stephon Heyer, Zorn said: "He's actually improving. ... He's still gimping a little bit. ... It'll get better as the week goes on."
