A bit of good news for Lindsay Lohan: she might have a sympathetic ear in Washington if Jeff Greene wins Florida's senate seat in November. The colorful billionaire--Mike Tyson was the best man at his 2008 wedding, former madam Heidi Fleiss stayed at his guest house--made his fortune in the Florida real estate collapse and is running against Rep. Kendrick Meek in the Democratic primary. On Thursday, TampaBay.com highlighted two paparazzi photos of Lohan and Greene, 55, taken on New Year's Eve in St. Barth in the French West Indies. "He's not the first candidate to have celebrity friends," a spokesman for Greene's campaign told us. But he declined to explain why the candidate was part of Lohan's entourage or if he had a vacation home on the island. "I'm not going to get into that." UPDATED, Friday: Greene told a reporter that "People stand next to me all the time in photographs. What can I say? This is not what's important." Maybe, but it sure is fun: TampaBay.com dug up some more pap pics of Lindsay's excellent vacation on Greene's yacht.
