Tom DeLay is not letting any jail sentence -- or the tragedy in Tucson -- hold him back from blaming liberals for the outcome of his trial for money laundering. On the "Today" show, DeLay told Matt Lauer that the trial was a political campaign against him. Lauer switched the focus from the trial to Tucson and asked DeLay whether he has any regrets about blocking stronger gun control laws while in Congress. "Gun control and grandstanding doesn't help anybody," DeLay said. Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
