Starting in 2000, Metrorail launched an ambitious program to rehabilitate its aging escalators. Click on a Metro station below to learn about whether overhauled escalators you use have improved. While this data provides a glimpse into the $93 million overhaul program, Metro did not have comparable data for every escalator that has been rebuilt.
