Washington, D.C.: What is your dream date?

Michael Cera: A few warm drinks and a couple of bad reactions.

Washington, D.C.: Who are some comedians that inspire you?

Michael Cera: Garry Shandling, Ricky Gervais, Bill Murray

NYC, N.Y.: I was able to catch a screening of "Superbad" and I think you are hilarious in it. It's so funny I plan to see it again. What was your favorite scene to shoot?

Michael Cera: The scene where the cops hit Jonah Hill with their car and we talk to them.

_______________________

Washington, D.C.: Is this going to be the funniest movie ever, or what?

Michael Cera: Does this answer your question: ";)"

_______________________

Alexandria, Va.: Hi Michael! You were brilliant in Arrested Development. All your awkward teenager moments were perfect and one of my favorite parts of the show. My question is related in that it looks like you are playing a similar role in "Superbad." Have you been expanding your range in any recent or upcoming roles? I'm sure someone with your talent could handle anything!

Michael Cera: My next role is an abrupt doctor who may or may not murder people. I'm not concerned.

_______________________

Vienna, Va.: Where do you think George Michael Bluth is right now?

Michael Cera: Cut in half vertically, half of him being in one of those big freezers, the other half afloat in Lake Huron.

_______________________

Miami, Fla.: What's your favorite "Arrested Development" episode? (pause appropriately for a moment of silence.)

Michael Cera: Episode 33.

_______________________

Towson, Md.: Will we see "Clark and Michael" brought to the television? Or possibly "The Family Cruise"?

Michael Cera: Doubtful, although Rosie O'Donnell's documentary is probably the closest thing to one of those moving forward. I suggest you watch/savor that for the time being.

_______________________

More seriously, what is on tap for you next?

Michael Cera: On tap next is a movie I'm working on in January that Harold Ramis is directing!

Michael Cera: Escaping the throes of voicing Brother Bear.

_______________________

Arlington, Va.: Michael, what is impossible?

Michael Cera: Answering this question.

_______________________

D.C.: Dude -- you rock -- bummed about the Bluth's demise but the stuff you have done since has been great. I found the Impossible is the Opposite is Possible video on YouTube very inspirational. Michael Cera: Professionally? American Football. Casually - All Gladiator sports/warm-ups

_______________________

White Plains, N.Y.: Do you have any similarities to your character in "Superbad"?

Michael Cera: We look alike

_______________________

Virginia Beach, Va.: Yes! I loved "Arrested Development," but I don't know much about you personally. How old are you? What's your background?

Michael Cera: I'm 19 and I've had a fairly nice life. My history is far too long to recount, and would thus compromise the remainder of my answers as well as my freedom

_______________________

Bethesda, Md.: Dude, may I say as a long-time reader of Washington Post chats that you are an awesome typist. But no way can you top answering 100 questions. Can you?

Michael Cera: If you personally prepare 100 questions and meet me at Jerry's Deli in Marina Del Rey at 9am tomorrow morning, we'll find out maybe

Michael Cera: Does this answer your question: :P

_______________________

Rockville, Md.: I will buy 1,000 movies tickets for "Superbad" if you answer this correctly. Can we go out?

Michael Cera: Maybe

_______________________

Arlington, Va.: College -- do you go? (or plan to?)

Michael Cera: Not at the moment, I'm hoping I'll be able to keep working for the time being.

_______________________

Potomac, Md.: Michael, what is a typical day like in the life of a budding star like yourself?

Michael Cera: Well I get up, phone my agent, go over our game plan for the day, figure out how we can turn this inchoate career into a fully budded and realized dream, call my publicist, get in a screaming match, have power-walk, and do internet-chats to spread the Cera name around the Web (internet).

Georgetown: What type of interior does your innocent exterior belie?

Michael Cera: Does this answer your question: #( (yes)

_______________________

Columbia, Md.: Where are you doing this chat from?

Michael Cera: Like I'm going to fall for that one

_______________________

Washington, D.C.: "Clark and Michael" has caught on pretty big. Do you think the Web (Internet) is the future of video shorts? How does it compare to doing regular TV?

Michael Cera: Well evidentally there's very little money and very little freedom in doing it for a major corporation. Doing things independantly is and always will be better I think, due to the recalcitrance of stubborn network hands.

_______________________

Portland, Maine: I've heard you say that you're a big fan of "Mr. Show" and the British version of "The Office." Are there currently any TV or Web comedies that you find particularly original/hilarious?

(Besides your own Internet show, of course...)

Michael Cera: Yes! The David Wain show on www.mydamnchannel.com and Derek and Simon on www.superdeluxe.com are both incredible! Also, on youtube there is a short called "Signed Sealed Delivered" that my good friends did, and it is brilliant. Please go watch it.

_______________________

Michael Cera: I've got to run folks! Need to go have this makeup taken off and then reapply makeup that is not designed specifically for internet chats. Thank you all for the questions! Please go check out "Signed Sealed Delivered" on youtube - its brilliant! Tell them I sent ya!
