Gov. Eliot Spitzer's Political Career

New York Gov. Eliot L. Spitzer's political future was thrown in doubt Monday, March 10, 2008, after he was identified as a client of a high-priced New York prostitution service. As New York's attorney general, Spitzer had built a reputation as a hard-nosed crime fighter and earned the nickname the "sheriff of Wall Street" for his efforts to combat white collar crime.
