'Breakfast Club' 25th anniversary: Where are they now?
John Hughes created an instant teen classic and annointed Hollywood's "brat pack." See what happens when a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal grow up.
"The Breakfast Club" (1985) followed five high school students through a day in detention.
Clockwise from top: Judd Nelson played bad-boy John Bender. Emilio Estevez was the jock, Andy Clark. Molly Ringwald was pretty and popular Claire Standish. Anthony Michael Hall played the nerdy Brian Ralph Johnson. Ally Sheedy was oddball Allison Reynolds.
Emilio Estevez shied away from the fame he received as a member of the "brat pack." He has gone on to star in and direct a number of films, most recently "The Way," which premiered at the 35th Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Anthony Michael Hall grew out of his role as the geek, becoming the mysterious leading man on the hit television series "The Dead Zone." He's currently working on the film "Aftermath."
Since playing the lovable eccentric of "The Breakfast Club," Ally Sheedy has starred in a number of films and has become a published poet. She recently starred in the movie "Life During Wartime."
Molly Ringwald made a television comeback with her turn as a mother to a pregnant teenage daughter in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" on ABC Family. She also wrote the book "Getting the Pretty Back: Friendship, Family, and Finding the Perfect Lipstick."
