The Haitian earthquake

On Jan. 12, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In this photo, a young child is treated for injuries at Port-au-Prince General Hospital. Haitian leaders estimated that tens of thousands of people have died in the aftermath.
