Signs of progress in Afghanistan's Helmand province

Marine officers have concluded that Operation Godfather, the show of force that began Friday -- helicopters rushing through the sky, trucks hauling ready-to-be-built bridges, and convoys spanning the desert horizon -- has caused the Taliban to back down.
