Trend Report: For a stylish 2011, think pink
As the economy began its downward slide, the experts at color-consulting firm Pantone picked a cheerful shade of golden yellow as the color of the year for 2009. For 2010, it was a brilliant turquoise; for 2011, the designated hue is honeysuckle, a robust pink. And retailers have gotten the message -- a crop of rosy goods are springing up, just in time for winter's blue days.
A host of spring collections spotlighted varying degrees of the hue, such as this Pepto-Bismol shade from Jil Sander.
