A memorial at Metro Center

Metro officials unveiled a memorial pylon at the Metro Center station Monday consisting of names engraved in stone of employees killed in the line of duty.

Lisa McMillan, sister-in-law, and Gerald McMillan, brother, touch the engraved name of Jeanice McMillan, the operator of the Red Line train that crashed in 2009. Jeanice died in the accident. Metro officials unveiled a memorial pylon at the Metro Center station Monday.
