Desserts 'too pretty to eat'

The Mexican tradition of creative gelatin desserts has been brought to the Washington area, in the individual flower gelatinas created by Canela Bakery in Gaithersburg.

Canela Bakery co-owner Rosario Gamboa took special classes to learn how to make individual flower gelatinas. She sells them at her Gaithersburg bakery and at the Montgomery Farm Women's Co-op in Bethesda. She likes to work in the quiet of her home kitchen in Rockville.
