Day 17: Egyptians protest as Mubarak speaks
Tens of thousands of Egyptian anti-government protesters crowded Cairo's Tahrir Square amid rumors that President Hosni Mubarak appeared to be on the brink of stepping down. Mubarak, however, said in a televised address that he would not leave office.
